Kaavan is often referred to as the world’s loneliest elephant. Now he is being flown to a wildlife sanctuary in Cambodia thanks to the help of a pop superstar. The singer Cher has been in Pakistan’s capital Islamabad to oversee Kaavan’s relocation, after he has spent three decades held in miserable conditions in a zoo in the city.
